Although I am a live in landlady I tend to be away often. I trust you will enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere my home provides.
There are two pubs in the village - The Black Lion serves good food. A taxi costs around £6 into Ashby if you prefere something more lively and local. Nottingham, Leicester and Derby city centres are only 30 - 40 mins drive away. Birminhgam approx 50mins. There are local shops at Woodville and Norris Hill to pop to for getting essentials. There are lovely country walks around the village and plenty of activities around and about to participate in (I do!)
